There’s something strange going on with the tags. Hopefully Tumblr will sort things out.

I don't know if that's what happened to your tags, but for some reason tags with hyphens don't work anymore from the homepage of blogs and can only be reached from the dashboard search. For instance if you tagged something "1740-1750" the oldrags*dot*tumblr*dot*com/tagged/1740-1750 url isn't going to work :/ typical tumblr shenanigans... bidonica

The painting itself exists in a private collection and is oil on canvas. I don’t know exactly who the sitter is, but the Brissacs were a French noble family from Anjou.
