Check out the stuffed birds on the middle lady’s hat.  This kind of thing was relatively common from the late Victorian era to the Edwardian era, unfortunately.  No but wtf why would you want the (sometimes dismembered) corpses of birds staring down at you with unmoving glass eyes?
